Old school media players are still there
I remember the old days when we used to listen to music on Windows 9x, then XP.
Most of the songs were called track1.mp3, track2.mp3 and so on.
Beautiful days.
Winamp ruled. With all the fancy and some horrible skins.
Then I found Foobar2000. It changed the experience.
Fast-forward a couple of years, a change of OS, and the rise of streaming services, and I have no more track1s.
Today I stumbled on the Foobar2000 website. It's still running and doing great!
That's so amazing. The website is old-school. There are even apps for other systems and phones.
